Our Story
What started as a simple nudge from God to begin a women's devotional or podcast slowly grew into something much bigger than I could have imagined.Along the way came a Called to Share Facebook group, Dear Disciple Box, Bless Your Porch, pages of notes, prayers, and seasons that felt quiet. Looking back, I can see that God was never silent. He was preparing, pruning, teaching, and weaving together a purpose I couldn't yet fully see.
I'm Darby Lindsey—a wife, mom of three, teacher, and founder of Dear Disciple Box. Through the beautiful and messy moments of motherhood, God has shown me the importance of building a home rooted in His truth.
Called & Rooted Collective was created to encourage and equip Christian moms with simple, Biblical teachings for everyday life.
Through Dear Disciple Box, the Called & Rooted Christian Moms Podcast, and future resources, my prayer is to help families grow closer to Christ together.
The name Called & Rooted reflects the heart behind everything we do. We are called to motherhood, called to discipleship, and called to share God's love. But we must first be rooted in Christ. He is our foundation. From those roots come the fruit, faithfulness, and everyday moments that glorify Him.
